“How many sessions will I need?”
“How often do I have to come?”
“How long will it take to see results?”
We know you’re wondering, and that’s why our founder, Carol Kremer, L.Ac., has developed this self-assessment quiz. It’s designed to give you an idea of what to expect. Of course, this is just a generic guide and we’ll go into detail about your specific case, your goals, and how we can help at your initial consultation. You’ll have all the answers you need to make an informed decision about your health care.
Setting the Stage
The good news is that acupuncture is amazing, and 80% of our patients who follow our recommendations see lasting improvement in symptoms and function: all without surgery and/or side effects of medication.
The bad news is that acupuncture isn’t instant, and it’s not 100% (Nothing in medicine is.) It takes time and repetition.
It’s a lot like building muscle. If you go to the gym one or two times, you’re not likely to see results. If, on the other hand, you work out twice a week, for a few months, you’ll start to see results.
Acupuncture is the same, it takes repetition and the right frequency to get the lasting results you want. If you’re looking for a quick fix, acupuncture isn’t your medicine. But, if you’re looking for lasting results without side effects, you’re in the right place.
So, how many treatments do you need, how often should you come, and for how long? Our founder, Carol Kremer, L.Ac., created this quiz based on her 12+ years of clinical experience. It’s designed to give you a rough idea of the number of treatments you may need, and how often you may need to come for treatment.
Please note - this is not a guarantee of treatment timing, or results. It’s for entertainment purposes only. We will go over your personalized Care Plan, goals and expectations during your initial consultation.
Let’s get started!
Self-Assessment Quiz
We invite you to take a moment, think about your life…and let yourself dream a little.
You deserve to feel good. And we understand we may be asking for a significant time commitment to help you get there. Are you able to make the time and space right now to commit to your healing?
If you’re like most of our patients, you spend a lot of time managing your health concern; altering plans, creating work-arounds, and if you have flare-ups, it can take hours or even days to fully recover. How much time would you gain back if you didn’t have to manage your health concern? More than 2 or 3 hours a week? (Remember, as you start to feel better, we see you less and less.)
How much energy would you gain back?
What would you be doing more of? Less of?
How would it change your relationship with family, friends, co-workers?
What would you be doing right now if you could find relief from your pain and discomfort?
